Also Hotland and the Core have the same population since there's hardly any Hotland to go through on a genocide run. So do that after every encounter or just use cheat engine and set up a command for instant encounters, I've heard that works pretty well. You leave and come back because your highest chance to fight a monster is after you enter a room/area. Your character will walk constantly but never move and the walking animation is what will attract monsters to you. If you're going to do a genocide run, when it comes to clearing out the little guys, just leave and re-enter a room/area, hold up+down or left+right and then click on another window. As for doing a genocide run, it takes extra effort to clear the first area and extra time to clear any area but fights become disappointingly easy because you just one shot everything on the first turn, except those 2 bosses I mentioned in the spoiler. I too was not a fan of the puns, or really most of the humor. "I have to stop you or you'll kill EVERYONE, human or monster! Their hopes power me!" At least Sans talks about how much it sucks to watch his loved ones die and to realize that nothing matters because he's fighting a time wizard. The only 2 real combat encounters have some dialogue that's supposed to be feely but I didn't really "feel it." Especially Undyne's dialogue, it seemed really cheesy more than anything. I did a genocide run after a true pacifist one. Honestly, how many people here have ACTUALLY done a genocide run and seen the feely - for themselves? Instead, I played in what I found was the most optimal way and a retarded goat ran off to college with my money, while I was being subjected to puns so bad they should be against the Geneva conventions and a crazy - was trying to murder my taco-colored ass. I would have to go out of my way and actively try to be a - in order for the game to show me that. In fact, it's easier to just pacify - than kill it, so I'd have to put in EXTRA effort in order to get that. Seriously? Seriously? All those posts on the frontpage about how feely this thing is, all that - about Sans and going to hell and punching the crazy fish lady in the - and not ONCE did a single one of you mention that the feely stuff is completely optional and really easy to avoid. I just played the game and I have to come - at you. Good, I've been looking for one, cause I am pissed.
